We started the game extremely well and were 22 - 3 up after 20 minutes. Losing Steve Brown with an elbow injury seemed to disrupt our flow and Farnborough hit back to go in at the break just 5 points down at 17 - 22.
The second half was a scrappy affair as the blustery wind and strong ball retention of the home side saw us have little possession. Despite this when we did attack we were able to convert our chances and eventually run out victorious 17 - 49.
We scored 9 tries, 3 from captain Mark Hammond who also landed our 2 conversions. Other tries came from Jasper Wallis 2, Harry Hitchings, Ross Bealey, Mike Parry & Ryan Hill.
Our Man of the Match was Ben Broderick
We now lie 4th in the league and welcome Eastleigh 2nd XV next weekend
