In clear and sunny conditions, the Hampshire squad attacked magnificently and were first on the scoresheet with a successful penalty kick. This was followed by a try in the corner after a skillful pick up and pass by our own Ben Kirby which put his team mate in to score. Ben also scored a try early in the second half and after a gritty 20 minutes defending right on their line, with all three of the Fordingbridge lads in the thick of the action, the final whistle ended the game with the score at 13-0.
It is a real milestone for the Club to host the Hampshire fixture, many thanks to all who worked so hard and helped with car parking, catering and organisation to make it such a special occasion.
