There was once a Christmas tradition going back many years. Where men dressed all in black took to the field and locked horns with men in blue.
Normally these men were like brothers. They shared many things. But for one day a year they would put aside their similarities and compete over an odd shaped ball, a bottle of port and a steaming kettle of mulled wine.
As time went on the men in black faded and were absorbed by the men in blue, until only the blue remained. The tradition continued, but now it would see young pitched against old. The fleet of foot would attempt to dodge the long of tooth.
This would only happen once a year, and that day was BOXING DAY
