Hot sun hit Fordingbridge hard.

The sun was shinning bright for this event of the ladies touch series, however, unfortunately Fordingbridge struggled under the heat. We lost all but one of our five matches, with scores of 1-4 against the Totton Terrors, 0-2 against Andover, 0-1 against the Fareham Heathan Hags, 1-2 against United Services Portsmouth's Virgin's Marys and finally winning 4-2 against the Fareham Heathen Hags Development team.

We took six players to the event, with two players suffering injury throughout the afternoon. US Portsmouth kindly lent us a couple of players on rotation, which helped us out immensely!

The afternoon was a great event and fun as always, but we certainly suffered in the sun and against younger and fitter teams. The ladies are looking forward to the last in touch series, which will be held at Fareham Heathens on Sunday 18th May. This will include an end of series BBQ after the games have been played, as well as a presentation to the winner of the series.
