This game saw us score five tries and for the first time this season take a maximum five points out of the game. The result lifted us two places up the League with a game in hand over the teams around us.
Paddy Flood opened the scoring with the game a few minutes old. Playing in the centre, Paddy scored a second try 15 minutes later and with Mark Hammond, who had also kicked a penalty, converting both tries we were soon 17 points up.
Josh Goodchild added a third unconverted try just before half-time, and Wheatsheaf stormed back to snatch a try just before half-time to reduce the arrears to 22-5.
This was the signal for some rousing play by the Cabin Crew and they looked like making more inroads into our lead, until midway through the second half when we regained the initiative when Dean Lewis scored a try which Mark converted. A brilliant break by Mike Parke put Deano over for his second try which Mark again converted to complete a good afternoon.
