We continued our impressive form of late, scoring seven tries and repeating last week’s win over Wheatsheaf Cabin Crew this time by an even bigger margin 46-10. Sam Hawker put us ahead with a try converted by Mark Hammond but Wheatsheaf made much of the early running, scoring two tries to take a 10-7 lead.
We hit back with two more tries before half-time through James Hammond and Jim Hirschmann, the latter after a break from the halfway line in which he beat numerous Wheatsheaf players. Mark landed two more conversions and a penalty to make the score 24-10 at the interval.
The second half was marked by more flowing rugby from us, and a valuable bonus point, with Sam going over for his second try and three others scored by Mark Newton, Graham Branagan and Callum Butler, the last converted by Callum himself to complete a highly successful weekend for both senior teams.
