Woohoo, a cracking win for the boys! The past few weeks have been a struggle to get the team together - but with everyone back from holidays and cycling jaunts - the team was back to something resembling full strength!
I wasn't there so don't really know what happened - except Beefy scored a solo 60 metre effort (rumours abound that a taxi was called for the final 30 metres are unfounded) and a cracking bust up the middle by brithday boy JD, fed Major Maltby who in turn off loaded to James Hammond to dot down under the posts - one was converted and a penalty knocked over as well to give the 15 points!
Skipper Boyo Parry was full of praise for his charges : - 'I'm really proud of the boys, good aggression, good discipline and awesome defence...we've a platform to build on now!'
He then muttered something about sheep but I'm too disgusted to repeat it!
Well done lads - a weeks break before league duty resumes!!
