Ultimately they scored 11 tries and won 65-nil, putting them into confident mood for their first game back in Dorset & Wilts 3S – against Wimborne 3rd XV at the Rec on Saturday.
Only last week the 1st XV Captain, James Greenwood, had talked of the promising young players in the club, and it was two of them, the Gogin twins, Chris and Paddy, who featured prominently on the 2nd XV scoresheet. Both scored three tries each and the others came from John Dossitt (2), Tim Donell, Raul Blanquer Picazo and the captain Jon Vass.
