31 members of the squad enjoyed their first rugby of the club's 30th anniversary season in this friendly at Oakmeadians.
The match was played in good spirit over four quarters with our personnel changed at each break. It turned out to be an excellent trial with everyone putting in a good shift.
Our five tries came from Joe Brewer, Bobby Brown, Mat Norton, Steve Brown & James Gwynne. Mark Hammond with two and Mat Norton one added the extras from conversions.
A good start and thanks to Oakmeadians for their hospitality.
